My layin feed says 20% protien

is 20$ protien enough? what can I put to my birds to UP the laying?

I've fed 18 and 22 percent to my flock, can tell no difference as far as egg laying, but the 22 percent seems to help with feather growth and keeps the feathers shiny.

Both brands of layer feed that I have used have been 16% protein

If there was a way to feed something to chickens and get them to lay more than they would otherwise, industry would have invented it by now. The fact no miracle feed of this type is out there probably means that you can't influence egg number by protein content.

what brand is 20 and 22 percent? I think the Layena is 16
