My Leghorn rooster seems depressed.

Please help!!!! For the past month my White leghorn rooster has done nothing he is supposed to be doing. He hasn't crowed all Winter which he usually does a lot, he hasn't been breeding with the hens or anything. He doesn't seem very upbeat. He is either under the heat lamp or he is with the girls just standing. He never even tries to attack me. I just can't figure out what's wrong with him. He is eating and drinking well.

I'd catch him up and check for any signs of injury/illness/pests. That doesn't sound like normal behavior and usually when they act that way there's a reason. Good luck.
