And my rooster who is much bigger seems to be taking more of a hit than the guinea. His comb is bleeding which I will clean and put neosporin on, but my question is.........what do I do? This is the second time I have caught them and broken up a bad fight.
We only have one guinea left, and our roo is actually pretty tame.
I just don't want to think I will have to cull my guinea but I don't want know what to do otherwise.
I only have one run, and I have 7 hens in with the roo and guinea.
Thanks for any input.

I have guineas and chickens. Put your guinea in a seperate wired area where he can not get the roo. You might have to keep him locked in for a few weeks but make sure they still see each other. You might check the guinea fowl website or read Gardening with Gunieas for more details. My birds are still separated by a wire fence but they now sleep next to each other. About 4-5 weeks ago it was all out war in the coop as well as the yard. By spring I'll have them all in one large coop. It would be sooner but they are new gnz and haven't had snow or been trained to this area from free rangeing yet. Good luck.
