While my 5+ lb Australorp lays a 2 oz. egg. I have desided that even though I like the looks of the Black Australorps better I will get 8 more ISA Browns next spring, along with 2 Jersey Giants.

third since the ISAs have started laying on(aptly) labor day. Within 2 weeks they went from laying medium size eggs to large eggs. The last 2 weeks I have gotten 3 jumbos. The ISAs lay one a day nearly without fail. I have only had one day since labor day that I only got 3 from my 4 ISAs.
