my little Blue died...

i had a blind chicken named Blue (b/c of when we first discovered she was blind, the others pecked her so much i had to cover her in blue-kote to heal up her wounds.) anyway, she always did pretty good, she'd stay in the coop most of the time but did wander around the barn some, she just could never find her way back, so we'd have to carry her back in there.

well last night i went to gather eggs and she was dead. no sign of illness, just dead.

i have now lost 3 in a month, its just so sad. i had one die of CRD, got them all cured of that, one drowned, and now my favorite girl dies.

if you believe in this sort of thing, prayers for little Blue are appreciated.

Hugs to you from someone who has lost two precious birds in a little over a month, so I know the jolt you get from that. I'm sorry about little Blue. She was obviously very well-loved.
