My little chick (AHEM cockerel) crowed today!!!

He is only 6-8 weeks. And i was holding his sister, and she was chirping, so he chirped back. Then he stuck his head straight up like they do and tried to cockadoodledoo. SOOOOO funny! He sounded like needs to go through puberty, can't wait to see if he'll practice some more. But i WAS RIGHT! I thought by the size of the comb from his 4th week that he would be a rooster. Gawd he's cute. I may have to keep him.

Aww he's cute! My blue orp just crowed last week and he was 13 weeks old. It's always cute to hear that first crow LOL
