Lost my oldest lady today,my gwennie,she was a white Sussex, I've had her from the start of my chicken keeping adventures approx 4 years ago.She hung on for a good two weeks since I noticed she wasn't well,found out she was egg bound but had lost all of her weight even though she was eating until last day, I tried to get the egg out of her but I think I might have been hurting her to be honest and I think she had gone too far has anyone had any success with curing eggbound hens?
