My Mandarins are here!!! OMG they're small-PIC

    Here they are. They are way tinier than I expected. I knew Mandarins were small but I thought they'd be as big as the calls but they are smaller. They are so beautiful. Need names now....something regal.

    How about Elvis & Pricsilla......sorry, those are the names that just popped into my head as soon as I saw them.....lol.

    Mandarins are very pretty. I'm curious, what do people do with Mandarins and Wood ducks. I mean, they are too small to eat (though I have eaten quail) and I'm sure not only are their eggs tiny but they're probably only seasonal layers. Are they just something pretty to look at or do you show them? Thank you

    Those look very nice...congratulations!
    LoreenH people have them just to watch them, show them and even sell their young. Sure they are only seasonal layers, but they have quite a few ducklings and they are more expensive than regular ducks.

    I got them just to look at. But that's what I do with all my ducks. Just look.
