My mandarins are quacking? What the heck!

    Yeah they are quacking. I thought mandarins were quiet ducks, mine so far have hardly made a peep until lately; usually when my dad walks by the pen they start chatting away, so today I finally caught them in the act on video!
    I think it is hilarious! I never realized they did this and boy is this different compared to waking up at six in the morning to my Indian runner ducks squawking! [​IMG]

    I wouldn't really consider that as much as a quack. They do make different sounds. Mine make more of a cooing sound. They've done that before, but not so much a full on quack.

    Very cute.
