    He's beautiful! How's his personality?

I have two similar to yours that are twice as big as the rest of the batch I hatched out a couple months ago. (Cuckoo Marans pullets, Welsummer roo & pullet & 2 black Ameracauna pullets).

One esp is a Godzilla Roo!! so far they are very nice, but I've had too many roos change on me when they hit maturity to trust that--I sure would like to keep one of them though, if they behave.

How do his drumsticks feel? My friend has a cuckoo marans roo that has drumsticks as big as a turkey, I swear! He is not that huge of a bird either, and I was just wondering if that is a trait of the variety, or just her bird.

hhhmmm.. dont know about his drumsticks?? i will have to check on that.. he is heavy tho...
and his temperment is very docile, and sweet...
this is my first time owning marans,, if all of them are like this, i really like this breed..
i wish i had my camera with me last night.... he was standing next to a cochin hen.. he towers over her...
