I decided to put this tin shed in our backyard to good use. I originally thought of using the while she's but I thought that was a waste. So I decided to partition part of the shed and make the coop arms level so I didn't have to bend over when cleaning it out. The run was adapted to the length of the shed and basically built it around an old screen door that I found and painted blue to match the color scheme of the house. All together I'm very satisfied with how it came out.

I am thinking about getting a shed just like this to convert. Do you have pictures of how you made the door? Or could you explain how? I am just OK with building so any advice is great.

The smaller door from the run going inside. Pop door? I'm not up on all my coop lingo yet. Lol!

I just cut some wood trim. Spray painted the trim red. Used metal shears to cut the hole in the shed to match the trim I cut. Used 1" screws after I predrilled the trim and placed a matching frame on the inside so I had something to drill into behind the metal if that makes sense.

The only issue I would see in the future for you is what will be your set up when winter comes around? Also with a heavy rain and strong winds your chickens might be drenched.
