Yesterday was a hard day she just slept all day and was saying weird things. I could not wake her up whether I squeezed her hand or yelled at her. When she was up she said crazy things that did not make sense. Well this morning on my way back to her room with breakfast the doctor stops me in the hall and tells me that he did not want to say it in front of her, that "She is at the end of her life and they only thing they can do is make her comfortable" I just cannot believe this she went down hill so fast. Last week we thought she was going to be able to have surgery to help/save her to this week is her last. I just don't know what to do. She doesn't know that she is dying she thinks she is getting better and is going to come home. And if we were to tell her, she wouldn't remember she is out of it completely she is saying off the wall things half of the time it is so hard to understand her to begin with. I just cannot believe this is happening I feel like I am dying inside!!!
