My Moulting chicken is covered in dirt...

My Moulting chicken is covered in dirt... Should I give her a bath? She was always clean before - the dust baths just seam to shake off but since she started moulting it's like she's covered in mud. Is this part of the process? Can I or should I bathe her?

Sounds like she is in hard molt and maybe itchy from growing feathers.

If you suspect possible mites/lice along with the molt then you should give her a bath with some flea shampoo and clean the coop very well. A bath might let you look for bite marks and bugs.
