It's just so amazing watching the babies growing up. I have to admit that I think Muscovy's are becoming my favorite duck species. My Pekins, Runners, and Calls run away from me, unless I have food. My Muscovy's run towards me...food or no food. They will sit and snuggle and cuddle with me, not try to struggle and get away and will literally stay there until I move them. They give me little nibble-kisses and the noises that they make??? Pure heaven!! They almost sound like crickets!

They love peas & kale & mixed veggies. They wolf down brown rice and beans. They HATE WATER. Put them in the bathtub and they look like you're torturing them. LOL They all stand huddled in the corner, looking totally miserable.

Here's some pics of my precious babies. Please excuse their dirty feeties. This was just before I put them in the tub, which they hate! They spent the afternoon out in the mud and muck because it was 70 today. If I only knew how spectacular they were, I would have gotten them sooner!!

I thought I would post their bathtub pics. I've been bringing them outside to play and its been raining so everything is muddy and mucky. Of course the first thing they had to do when they got in the tub was poop!

I think this is a male. He's big and chunky.
