Today was day 20 and I went out to feed the animals and this is what I saw: There were four little easter eggers in total, which I removed and put in a brooder. They were all FAT. Is this because of extra humidity from being hatched under a duck? The roo was an EE, the hens were either EE, Leghorn, Barred rock, or silver-laced wyandotte. I'm an urban chicken person (1/5 acre city lot), since I'm not allowed to have roosters (these eggs came from a friend) these are the first eggs I've hatched under an animal, instead of in the incubator. I'm pretty darn excited.
