My new Ameraucana!

    This is "Sugar Daddy", the latest addition to my flock. He is still in quarantine but is settling in well. I believe him to be a red-brown or brown-red. He has dark legs, like a dark slate. If I understand correctly, if bred back to a green egg laying EE hen, the offspring will lay blue eggs? Also I have another EE whose parents are a WL roo over a regular brown EE.[​IMG]

    Pretty bird, but if you want blue eggs, get pure hens.

    he can breed him to white leghorns and still get blue eggs... now if he want blue eggs and more ameraucanas, then yes...
