I got me 5 blue (bbs) silkies from Ideal in April. 4 of them made it to adult hood, 1 roo, non bearded and 3 hens 2 non bearded one bearded, 2 have went broody so I let them. I put 10 under my bearded one. I think that she is the best looking of all of them. I like the size of my roo but his crest is lacking. anyway here are the pictures of my chicks when I received them in april, they have always been skiddish of me.

Here they are as adults. The one in the middle is the roo

the second photo is my roo and the hen that I like and that just hatched 9/10.

and here she is with her chicks. There is one egg left and I am going to wait another day or 2 but I don't think that it is going to hatch. I managed to get blue, black and splash. I am so happy.

They managed to hatch early and hatched on new years eve, new years day.

So far she has been. I wound up with what appears to be 3 black, 3 blue, and 3 splash.
