I have 2 Austrolorps, 1 golden laced wyandote and 3 Ameraucanas. I want to maybe add one last one, an EE. The coop is 6'x'4 and run is 6'x12'. We are in East South Central Florida. The girls seem to be doing well.
We placed a french drain around the side and front of the coop because with all the rain today, our clay soil around it became a muddy mess. I am going to add pine/wood chips inside and maybe a little sand.
Comments/suggestions/ideas welcome!
Next project is waterer and feeder that doesn't waste so much feed. After that we will be building the nest boxes.

Cool! EE's are the best, getting one more shouldn't be bad. I wish I had four! But add her with another chick, otherwise she's gonna get picked on.

They are. Usually large scale hatcheries and feed stores do not offer pure Ameraucana. EE are usually labeled under as Ameraucana to entice people to buy a uncommon breed.
I bought them from a small farm about 2 hours away from home. Not large scale and not a feed store.
How can you tell they aren't pure Americaunas? I am disappointed :(
