Seems to do the trick! You might consider putting hardware cloth on top of your chicken wire at least 3' up from the bottom to help keep predators out. Hate to see you loose your chickens to a raccoon hand stuck through those holes!

thanks for sharing your photos, i saw those timber logs you used in your pen area at home depot and they weren't to expensive .. you probably have storage in the shed too, im sure that will be handy! .. is that a brooder in the pen (thats for the babies right?)
