i got the idea from another post on the forum who made a pvc waterer.

    material list

8 feet of 3" abs pipe
    2 'y' fittings
    2 45 degree elbows
    3 3" caps
    1 3" plywood plug

i used wood screws to hold it together so i can take it apart if i need to clean it.
also the plug is a snug fit made out of plywood so if there is a clog in the pipe i can remove it.

this is where the food is put it. cut the hole with a holesaw, then widened it with a sawsall and roofing tar to seal it.

this is the 1st tier, used a sawsall to cut the top of the pipe

this is the bottom tier, same setup

Looks cool, but what do you mean by tier? They look the same. [IMG]

Also, how do you get the feed in? It's on the roof!

tier is just another word for level [IMG]

and yup, the 1st pic is of the spout where i dump in the feed, it holds about 10 pounds of feed, and so far i havnt seen a single cumb on the
ground around the feeder, im stoked about that the last feeder i had the chicks could beak out loads of food if i over filled it.

I have 9 hens, takes a little less than a week to drain it although i fill it about every 3 days just to make sure they dont run out
