A couple of months ago a proposed the idea to my parents to build a new chook pen. We had pulled down the old one as it was really old and bad design ect. So I spent many weeks looking at many chicken pen designs and made my own design with all the bits I wanted in one thing! It took a few months over the lockdown period but it got finished this week and we got our new girls. They are Hyline browns. Their names are Olive,Honey,Willow and Belle!

It's nice to see that excellent ventilation and generous roof overhangs.

Unfortunately, I have to say that the chicken wire is not at all predator proof. Raccoons and dogs can tear right through it. :(
Thank you for your concern. Yes I did think the holes were a bit big but we don’t have any predators here. And my dogs don’t mind the girls.
