These are the 6 I got a few days ago!

They're 5-6w old. They are SOOOOOO docile! The kids hold them and they snuggle in their hands. TOO cute! Here are some pics. I have a sheer fabric, as you can see, draped just under the top of the cage just in case they decide to boink up. So far, not much boinking from them.

I have 1/2" hardware cloth going all around the cage and the door. So far, so good! We'll probably keep them in the garage during the winter..... plenty of windows in there.

Do quail get really tame? I'm just wondering because they look so cute...

1st looks like it COULD be a female, feather sexing is not accurate/normally accurate with this color.

The second one is a hen, though!

Oh, and with regular handling they can become very tame! Like mini chickens!

Soo cute! I love the one with it's head to the side looking at the camera like " yeah I know I cute". Makes me want more.
