I just finished this up yesterday and it took 4 days to build. It's a "Quaker" style coop that has a 4 x 4 footprint. I plan on having 3-4 chickens to call it home in the upcoming weeks. I used online photos and descriptions from similar coops to build this one. Here's some pics:

Quote:It cost $350 but because I have extra materials like shingles, siding, etc, I'll probably build another one and it should cost me around $200.

    Thanks for the compliments.

You should draw up plans and sell them! Great coop!

I have a big chicken coop that was built by a carpenter, but i wish i would of had more input!! Needs moreventilation, nest could of been built into the building with outside door to gather eggs, oh well at least it's well insulated!!! I need another for my Silkies as I am not putting them out with the other girls. Am trying to convince my DH to build me one just like yours!! Wish me luck LOL
