my new turkeys!

    I've finally decided to get turkeys after raising buff Orpingtons my entire life. I got a trio of bourbon reds for $75! Here are some pics.

    Nice looking birds. Turkeys are a lot more interesting than chickens.

    My turkey hens like recycling totes set on the floor, the bins about 18" w x 30" l x 14" h. But they will lay pretty much anywhere, it's funny when they back into metal chicken nest boxes and drop eggs on hens.

    Picked up 5 bourbons today. Ad off of craigslist 3 hens 9 months old. A 9 month old tom. And a 3 year old tom. 100 dollars if you took all.
