Very pretty. They look like partridge cochins.

pssssstttt you need another duck unless you are going to make that one a house duck. They get very very lonely.

Quote:The people i bought them from use to have more ducks and they all died from predator attacks. this one has been with the chickens for a while now and doesnt seem to mind. she has actaully bonded with one of the cochins. and besides my mom almost killed me when she found out i bought a duck, baby chicks, and more hens so buying another duck really isnt an option right now.. The problem may be entirely on my end, as my monitor is old and crummy, but the pictures are terribly dark. Perhaps tomorrow you can take them outside and get some better pictures? And maybe some taken from a profile view? Looking down on a bird makes it kind of tough to identify as so much of a breeds confirmation is lost in a "from the top" angle. [IMG]

Im not sure about the chicks or the duck.

The brown hen is a partridge rock.

The gold ones are buff orpingtons.

Does that brown bird have feathered Feet?
