My Newest Brooder

So we moved into a new house and I had these large furniture boxes sitting outside to give away on Freecycle.

I also had some baby chicks that needed a temporary brooder until the bantam coop is built.

I figured I'd use the large boxes, taped together, as a brooder.

I decided to make little doorways for the chicks to go through into each "room."

I had an old screen-door laying around and I use that on top of the boxes.
