Hello! I got my order from McMurray this morning. I was worried because the weather was bad in Iowa where they came from. However, even though I had two casualties, I still have about 27-30 chicks. I ordered 25, but they obviously put in a few more for warmth.

They are so cute - I cannot tell which one is the bonus chick.[IMG]

Lots of colors! What breeds did you order? And where is Sharpsburg? I'm at the extreme Northern part near NC.

I used to live 30 miles NE of Atlanta in Gwinnett county. Grew up in DeKalb county. Now I live in the mountains and I love it.

Speckledhen, Blondie, I live in Gainesville, the city at the foothills of the North Georgia Moutains. Actually, I live north of the city almost at the Hall / White county line. Cute peeps!! I can't hardly wait for my eggs to hatch!! Hey Blondie, where did you get the large plastic container? I like the set up you have going for the chicks. Great idea! Glad you shared your photos of the chicks and the set up. Johnny (soonerdog)

They are so cute. I'm glad yours are doing so well. Mine from McMurray aren't. [IMG] I'm down to 11 out of 25. Mine are bantams and McMurray is sending me replacements. Even the few extras they sent didn't make it. Did you get an assortment or order specific breeds?
