My poor broody KC

I have a KC hen who constantly goes broody. She will make her little nest under some tarps in the duck house, and happily sit on 10+ eggs indefinitely. I don't have a drake, so there's very little chance of any ducklings, but she always gets so upset when I finally get the heart to clear out her eggs.

I'm thinking of buying some hatching eggs for her, but I already have 3 ducks and they make so much of a mess as is. Sigh, what's a girl to do...

I have 3 Muscovies that love to brood. I have to be strong and go in everyday and remove their eggs. I have 14 water fowl and haven't any room for more. It's hard I always feel sorry for them, But you have to do what you have to do.

Collect eggs daily and mess up the nest daily too..
