My poor turkey.. Avian pox?

    Is this some kind of pox? What do I do? If we butcher her is the meat unhealthy if she's aick?

    Doesn't look much like fowl pox. Looks like dry skin or some kind of irritation. You can try ointment to soothe the issue. The bird is entirely edible.

    My chickens now have a skin issue... Black scabby stuff :/

    If it is the pox there's nothing you can do except wait for it to run it's course, it can get pretty nasty looking but most are fine.
