This was my first hatch and these are my lil shoogah boogah fluffy butts.
I got my eggs from fellow BYC'er De. This first group are the EE's, I got 5 of them from 12 eggs - I think..oh geez ok 12 eggs, 3 clears, 1 died, 3 didn't hatch....yeah these are all of the ee's....5 of them hee hee.

Yep, that's a little white one in there, popped right out of a blue egg.

And these six are mixes. Their father could have been Cochin, Polish, or Frizzle, so maybe you can help me guess the baby daddy.

I think it's pretty obvious that these baby's daddy are cochin....

    but how bout these?

    and this little one?

What a blast they are! I think my DH is jealous.

Yea - my hubby does grumble at time b/c I am on BYC or in the chicken room. So I have to give him extra loving. [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

But he is awesome and a good sport. Matter of fact - we just got him some east indie ducks and calico turkey chicks b/c he really likes those. - See it just isn't me. [IMG]

Chicks have a way of drawing you in. [IMG]

De will have a better idea on the identity of the fathers [IMG]
I will send her a link to this thread. It will prob be Thur before she replies b/c we are going to the chicken testing school tomorrow in LR.

1.I had a ee rooster that was almost all white...
2.Cochin ( roo. is a black mottled but has blue in him to...)
3.Yellow maybe frizzle time will tell, I think that the blue is a cochin..
4.Maybe a frizzle ( the frizzle roo. is all colors)
And there is 2 hens in that pen that lay colored eggs 1 is brown/tan and 1 is blue... I hope that helps... Keep us updated....

[IMG] Thank you De!!! I sure hope I manage to get a frizzle.
They're just under a week old and I'm starting to see little wing-tip feathers, and a couple of them are already starting to get tail-tip feathers! Tiny, little cutey patootie feathers.
