My pullet Owl has somehow injured her foot or possibly her leg. She curls her toes under on the left leg and walks on the ankle stub and top of her foot. Her foot looks perfectly ok. There are no obvious injuries, no swelling, skin perfectly healthy looking. She can open and contract the toes by her self so I don't think there is any thing broken. She tries to not move much and walks with a limp on her "stub" foot. Every once in a while she'll spread her toes and walk normal but quickly reverts to curling the foot under after a step or two. I'm suspecting the foot is actually ok and maybe her leg is injured. She can move it but is limping and mainly trying to stay still. I don't think it's broken because she can run a little if necessary, maybe a fracture? What should I do? How long will it take to heal?
