my quail are hatching now... early...

    My jmf eggs are hatching 2 days early.... they are all starting to unzip their shells.... im feeling like this aint good... got one in the brooder... hes doing fine so far... 3 more just popped out..

    I was just worried they werent ready yet... but thats good to hear... got 9 out of 71 so far

    [​IMG] what are you naming them? breakfast, lonch and dinner?? lol the temp could of been a hair high but they wont come if their not ready.

    Pretty much. Got a while though.. robbie at jmf said rotate our your breeder stock every 9 months... so I got more raising to do for eaters!

    The A&Ms are so yellow and long downed... I expected them to be a little darker at first.. lol. They are chirping away driving my lab nuts outside the door lol

    I'm glad to hear that they are hatching early, and you're not telling us that they are "days" behind schedule and getting ready to float test them. Well, time to fire up that brooder. Good luck!

    Im at 19 out of 71.... I sure hope to get more... I didnt see any more peeping shells when I left the house tonight... they still have time though, we will see what happens when I get home from work in the morning..
