so when I got these silly boys I was told by the previous owner that they never roosted they always slept in the corner on the floor well not anymore they love the roosts and have been on them every night and when it was raining they sat up there looking out the windows watching it rain

Thanks they're so funny i just put up the roost on the left today they were all on the lower one I told my husband we need to put more in there because it's just boys no nest boxes needed so we have to fill it with guy stuff he just laughed at me

My one roo loves to roost with all 20 of his hens, the other is a different story. He sleeps in an old dog house and won't sleep any wear else. He has 5 hens and a turkey. He also loves hanging arkund my 10 pullets.

Those ones are silkies I have added so many since I posted this i will have to take another pic with them all and all the added roosts their is now 12 in my batchler pad all different breeds there is silkies, booted bantams, Sebrights, barred rock, Australorp and black sexlinks they're all super funny the way they greet a new rooster is almost like a Disney movie the 2 greeters Thunder and Lightening (booted bantams) they go check them out and let out a crow then the rest crow one at a time then they all stare at the new rooster and wait for them to crow i will have to try to video the next addition
