My RIR is becoming agressive

So I have a normally very sweet RIR who is becoming increasingly aggressive about treats (mainly just chicken scratch) She knows where I keep it and as soon as she sees me heading in that direction she runs over and starts pecking at my legs, and trying to jump into the box where it is kept. I have no idea what to do about this...they have plenty of fresh food and water along with being able to free range our backyard for most of the day so I know she's not "hungry". She is great with me and my children too, but she justs turns into a terror when she thinks the treats are coming.

She is one impatient girl. If you can, when you go for the treats, pick her up and carry her around and delay the treats for a while.
