I want to thank those of you who offered suggestions for me when my roo got attacked by the hawk. He was pretty sick for a couple days (I'm assuming from the beginnings of infection from puncture wounds) - was off feed; couldn't eat, couldn't crow, and had liquid poop, but I got some antibiotics from the feed store and it snapped him right out of it. He is pretty much back to normal now. I'm almost finished putting netting over the top of his new yard and he'll be back outside again...but safe and sound this time! Lesson learned!

He is such a sweet boy - such a great companion! Thank you for helping me to save him!

Glad to hear it!! My hen barely escaped getting taken by a hawk the other day. I ran out and scared it off, but I was petrified!
