First I want to thank everyone who posts on BYC, I learned about roosters guarding and sounding alarms. I allowed my little flock to free range in my small backyard while I was working in the yard. I heard my 5 month old roo Pharow start to make alot of noise and the girls were clucking too. I was puzzled at first until my onboard computer (brain) kicked in and said, PREDATOR! I looked around and I spotted the "enemy" a local cat who has a taste for feathered fowl! I stood up and hissed at that cat and he hi-tailed it outta there. I gave my roo a huge kiss!
