He picked up 6 chicks (5 easter eggers and one Ideal 236) and two ducklings (not sure what they are):

The ducks have a big bright orange spot on their neck that you can't really see in the pictures. I'll try and get better single pics tonight. I was searching on the Ideal website (they supply Atwoods) and the closest match was with the picture of the blue swedish ducklings.

Atwoods gets their bantams and keets in today (I think), may swing by myself... [IMG]

Quote:He picked the smallest ones out of the bin! lol They're too cute, I think they need some more duckling buddies. [IMG] [IMG] I have two fish ponds in my back yard for them to play in when the weather warms up!

One suggestion, you should probably come up with a different setup for your water because ducks will make a mess with it, and dampness is your chickies worst enemy. Maybe you can put it up higher that they can't climb in it, only stick their heads in it. [IMG]

Quote:lol, I told him that ducklings are messy but I think he was just trying to get them settled in for the night (i.e. he wasn't prepared [IMG] ). I believe he will be working out another setup tonight or this weekend, maybe the ducklings separate because they do looooove to play in the water!

    Thank you Sara!
