About two weeks ago I noticed a little blood on my Plymouth Rock's toe, he didn't seem to be hurt too bad that night so I just left him alone. The next morning he wasn't with the rest of the group of roosters. They were never aggresive to him, so I naturally assumed the worst. I founf him a little later in an old chicken coop laying down by himself. I shooed him out and notices he had a limp.
Now he refuses to stand on the leg, his tail feathers droop, and that foot is swollen. All he does now it lie down. I'm kind of worried; could it be broken? I could really use the advice and knowledge any of you have.
Thank you for your help.
