my rooster

    Why does my rooster sit in a nest?He fluffs the hay and makes a nice cozy little spot and will not move.

    He's trying to propagate the species by encouraging the girls to get to work, LOL. Mine do that, too. Its hilarious to see my giant Blue Orp cockerel in a nestbox. He does it in the corner of the coop, too. I even saw him picking up straw and throwing it over his shoulder like a hen, LOL.
