Recently my (very large) male Rouen duck started displaying a weird head twitch/tick. It doesn't happen all the time, but I've observed it several times daily. He seem's to uncontrollably, and in quick recession, cock his head to the right side for a short period of time (1/2 a minute). When he does this it effects his balance a bit as well.
Any ideas folks what it might be?

    Welcome to BYC

a video would help alot . How old is your drake and what do you feed? sometime nutritional def can cause symptoms It does sound neurological might help to try some good Poultry vitamins in his water for a while also. there are some to be found at TSC Poultry Nutri Drench is one. Any chance he may have eaten something rotten or been into stagnant water or some kind of liquid? like fertilizer accidently
