My Runner babies aren't babies anymore!

They almost all have their teenage feathers in already. And what interesting colors they're turning out to be! Thought I would share a few "growing up" pics.

Front to back: Lucky, Skillet, Decoy. and Freckles

This time it's Decoy in front, then Lucky and Freckles.

Does Lucky have a hint of blue thru her feathers down at the bottom of her wings. Love the blue with brown multi feathers...Love them all!!!!

She does seem to have Blue coming in on her wings! It's hard to get to show up in pictures, so I wasn't sure if anyone could tell. Her head is also a bit darker. I can't really pinpoint her color. Even the fawn and white, freckles, seems to be slightly off in her color. As for Decoy my bibbed guy, I have no clue. Some angles he looks blue, others he looks just like freckles' color. Who knows? lol

They grow so fast though!!

I think my lavender babies will turn out somehting like Lucky but maybe paler.

Skillet is Gorgeous! Do you have more that color??

Nope, These are my only 4 Runners right now. Skillet is only one with that solid blue color. Decoy is kind of a mix between Skillet and Freckles' coloration. I do plan on getting some babies from them next year, so I am sure one of them will wind up looking like their daddy! lol

Thanks for the compliment, I will pass it along to him. He is such a mellow, modest drake. Maybe this will give him a bigger head.
