My sick Girl Graphic Poo Pics

Okay;
She is 24 weeks old
Feed Medicated start and grow 19 weeks, on Layena now
had her since day 3
Coop 8X8 with 6 other girls and one banty roo=Deep litter
Run=12x8 had deep litter
Rained, litter soured took out a week later
Vent not swollen
Abdomen not swollen
Crop not full-won't eat, I have been force feeding yogur/oatmeal
comb not pail-infact very red
Has been laying 3-4weeks
Thought it might be Cocci-Started Sulmet yesterday

I'm not expert, but it looks like a cocci infection to me. Have you given her Sulmet?

I haven't had to deal with it personally, but have had friends who have. I use medicated chick starter, and am diligent about keeping coops clean and free of bacteria as best I can.

***not to say that everyone else isn't, I just meant I do my best to prevent it.

not to worry, My coop is very clean. It's the run is where I caused the problem. They hated the bare dirt. So I put down pine shavings- deep. We had our first rain and it soured and took a week to dry out. I raked it all out yesterday. Now its bare dirt. I am so disappointed. They were all on medicated feed until 19 weeks of age. Have you seen Cocci poo??

In response to your other thread, if she isn't feeling well she may not drink. You may have to use a dropper to get her to drink.
