Here's some updated pics of the the Oct. chicks...[IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

Omelet was my Halloween hatch, possibly a Lavender, out of my blue hen and black roo (both carry the lavender gene). I'm pretty sure Omelet is boy. [IMG]

Elly May (blue) same hen and roo as Omelet and Daisy May (cuckoo) both hatched 10/21. Both Pullets.

Love this pic... They look like they're saying "Whut?"

Scrambles and BFF Skittles...Scrambles is about 8 1/2 wks and Skittles is 6 1/2 wks. Skittles is my "mutt" duck. Mama is one of my Blue Swedish hens and daddy is Khaki Campbell/Rouen. (Betcha can't tell who she takes after?) [IMG]
Pretty sure Scrambles is a pullet.

LOL, he does look mad doesn't he? I scared them with the camera flash before that pic. He's a character actually and quite the talker, too. LOVES to have a conversation with me when I'm in the room with them.

Your babies are so cute. Thanks for sharing! I've never raised chickens from "scratch" (LOL). Got mine at 6 months. Have fun with them!

What color (or what do you call it) is the silkie on the left in the first, second, and fourth pictures. I don't recall ever seeing one like that. If you weren't in Alaska I'd try to steal or buy her, but you're too far away.

EDIT: I'm referring to the one that looks like it has dark and light gray stripes.

It's a color I'd like to work on.

Here's her daddy...(the little hen on the left is her mama)
