My Silkie Rooster is Pecking Peoples Feet

My silkie rooster,smokey, has been acting very strangly.He pecks my feet and my hands when I try to catch him.I could see what had caused this behavior if I had hit him.But I never hit him,NEVER.And im affraid that if this continues im going to have to sell him. But he has had a hard life,ever since his partner died saving him. Please help me find the cause of this! I don't want to give him away!

If he has a big vault, he may just have difficulty seeing you, so when he hears you or feels the vibrations of the earth as you walk, he's probably doing this to be sure you are friend and not foe! I would say give him time, as he's been through trauma. If the vault is the problem you can use some coated hair bads to make it possible for him to see. Also, if you give him treats he's probably just saying Hi where is my food? I advice spend more time with him, hold him and give him gentle affection.
