I just got started on hatching eggs. My black cochin is a great mother and just hatched two standard sized eggs. (She started with five but had a few problems along the way.) My white silkie is also broody so I got some eggs for her. I got 7 serama eggs, which are 1/5 the size of a regular chicken egg. I also gave her 5 sebright eggs, which are probably 1/4 to 1/3 the size of a standard chicken egg. Do you think this is too many. When I checked her this morning, a couple of the eggs were less hot than others. Also, my cochin would always fluff out and push the eggs under her with her beak. My Silkie just sits there. Any advice would be great.
