My surviving bantam chicks and Momma!

I posted a thread earlier today about some abandoned eggs I was trying(unfortunately unsuccessfully

)so I figured I would post a thread about the ones that did make it!

Here is Momma and babies-

and some closer ones of the babies- some may be a bit blurry, Sorry!

and one more- Momma was getting aggravated with me taking pics

I was always told that bantams made the best moms, and Wonder Woman is true to that! She nailed me good when I was putting feed and water out for her and the babies.

Hope I put this in the right place- it seemed appropriate!

Funny thing is- this hen was given to me by my daughter's Girl Scout troop leader along with a Muscovy drake that her daughter was tired of dealing with. She is only about a year old come Easter. Can't catch her, but she is one heck of a momma!
