    This is Lilly, one of my Wheaten Ameraucanas. I've been trying to break her for 2 weeks. Well I gave up before she did, and I went a head and gave her some eggs. She is such a sweet girl, she fluffs and grumbles but doesn't mind me petting her. She has her own little nest so she and her eggs can be safe.[​IMG]

    I would never discourage them, I want my flock to grow naturally and they are co-operating...

    I don't think its very common for Ameraucana to go broody, so I'm not sure that she will go the full hatch, but I've got my bator as a backup if she quits.
