My three week old Buff Chicks

    These are the only living decendants from our beloved Rooster "Booger" who died the day after Christmas.. my first attempt to hatch eggs and lots of newbie mistakes so was happy to have 4 live chicks.

    We are hoping for at least one roo.. I know.. funny thing to say when most people are hoping for pullets. Booger was a sweetie..

    DH and I have already agreed.. even if ALL FOUR are roos.. they will live here..

    Being our first chicks hatched ever.. they are totally spoiled. Can't imagine what they are going to do when we move them outside and they are forced into the reality that they are.. indeed.. chickens

    Curious.. which one/ones do you think might be roos?

    Very cute!

    If I were a guessing woman, and I am, I would say the roos are the two with already larger bright pink combs. The two with smaller, pale combs are probably girls.
