I have a bronze turkey hen (the lone survivor of original 7 I bought to raise as presents to my family members for Nov & Dec) I named her 'Lucky' since she was the only one to make it to maturity(the other six were eaten by a predator, the last two killed by my dog).
In December I noticed an egg on the floor of the hen house. (I have 10 hens) I figured it was one of the girls. I just looked up what a turkey egg looks like & the site described it as "A white to cream colored egg with brown speckles that is laid by a hen turkey". That totally describes what these eggs look like. I never found one in the nesting boxes only on the floor.
I am not sure how to go about uploading the pix to this site. So I will try again.
I am so in total shock!!

Congrats! I don't think I have ever seen a turkey egg, so I can't wait to see your pictures!
