My turn! BR, but he or she?? Weird one black wing...

    she could have a tad bit of something else in her, that would account for the black wings. Our BR came from a farm that had wierd mixes: BR and Australorp, BR and EE. The first combo looked mostly like a BR but had black splotches thru-out it's body. Kinda the same thing as yours.

    You give me too much credit-believe me, I've been wrong on sex before, but BRs are my thing, so for the most part, they are fairly easy. It's been brought up that she could have something else in the mix, and that certainly could be true, however, her daddy was a Barred Rock. Even my BR/Blue Ameraucana looks like a BR with bad barring.
